OFFICIAL: JAKE PAUL VS TOMMY FURY

Jake Paul (5-0, 4KOs) will meet Tommy "TNT" Fury (8-0, 4KOs) on August 6th at Madison Square Garden in NYC. Paul was supposed to fight Fury for his last fight in December, but Fury pulled out of the fight due to injury. There's been a lot of trash talk between the two for over a year now, and finally it can get settled.

Jake Paul has been saying for weeks that it was Tommy Fury holding up the contract being finalized, but Fury countered recently after signing the contract. He stated that he was waiting for Paul to sign up for the VADA drug testing agreed upon in the contract, and when he did, that is when he finalized the fight. Now this isn't the first guy to have an issue with Jake Paul and drug testing. I've long suspected Jake Paul of taking something a little extra. Will he need it vs Fury? I doubt it. Fury is the first boxer that Paul will fight but he's nothing spectacular. He's doesn't have half the talent his half brother, Tyson Fury has, but he has been boxing significantly longer than Jake Paul and opens up as a slight favorite at (-138) to Jake Paul at (+100). We will see what happens. It's a fairly even fight. Tommy Fury only had about 10 amateur fights and only 2 real pro opponents that weren't complete tomato cans.

The only thing that makes me a little bit more confident that Fury pulls this off, excluding controversial scorecards is that he beat a halfway decent opponent last time out against Daniel Bocianski who was (10-1, 2KOs). Fury boxed really well in that fight getting a clear unanimous decision. I wanna see what Jake Paul looks like with strict drug testing. Will his power be the same? Will his endurance be the same? Amanda Serrano (42-2-1, 30KOs) will  have a mandatory title defense against Brenda Carabajal (18-5-1, 9KOs).
